And so it goes...

Tomorrow is my last day at work for my current Company. I have been with them for almost 4 years so this is just a big change for me. I am excited but also nervous and hoping that I made the right decision. Thank you to everyone who joined us at Wolf Creek Winery on Friday. You guys are the best and I felt really special with how many people came out. It has been a fun 4 years here and I will miss a lot!

Columbus Bound

Well, it finally happened. After what seems like months of job searching and thinking about moving to Columbus, I have been offered a job and am moving in less than 2 weeks! I am very excited and feel that this is the right opportunity and pretty much the perfect time. My current job is going through a lot of changes and now they can just hire and train them the right way with their new rules. Thanks to my family and friends for their support and well wishes. I am very lucky and blessed to have all these great people in my life. I also have to give a shout out to my past employer. They are sad to see me leave and that makes me feel good that they appreciated me that much. It was probably the best job I have ever had besides the compensation so I will miss a lot about the job, my co-workers and my boss calling me Sunshine everyday. I was very lucky to work with such fun people. So now I embark on some new challenges and new opportunities. Columbus- here I come!

Now that's funny!

This past weekend my sister and I took my mom to Pittsburgh for her birthday. We were at Station Square and they have a water display where every 20 minutes a fountain will "dance" to music and depending on the time, they have different types of music like a Frank Sinatra tribute, Blues, etc. Well the one that we were watching was called 80's hair bands and the first song was Pour some sugar on me by Def Leppard. When we told my mom this she said "Why would anyone name their kid Def Leppard?"

Then last night I was getting my hair done and we were talking about Yoga and my beautician was saying that she has a friend who is very into Yoga and doesnt eat meat and will only buy organic things, etc. She was trying to be nice about it, but you could tell there was some bitterness there which I understood when she said that she doesnt like hanging out with this particular person and her friends because they look at her like she is "Wonder white bread!"

To my Grandma:

I will miss you so much. You have added so much to my life and I will always remember the valuable lessons I have learned from you. I am grateful for all the time we did have with you and my only wish is that we could of had more. I know you were ready to go, but I was not ready to say goodbye. You will always be guiding me and holding my hand.

May you be flying with the angels and reunited with the ones you loved and missed so much.
