The West Side...

On any given day at my work, something interesting happens just due to the location of where we are. Today was probably the best so far. Around 4 we heard cop sirens right outside our door, so we of course investigated. Apparently 2 doors down in the same strip that I work in, an illegal gambling ring got busted! The cops pulled up a moving truck and took all of the slot machines. NBC news was there too and one of my co-workers got interviewed and had her 15 minutes, er 15 seconds of fame tonight. I know because I just watched the 6 o'clock news and there she was! It was all very exciting. Today I learned that besides the gambling place, there has been a suicide and a prostitution ring in this same strip mall. Its just another day on the West side, but I have to admit I am relieved to be moving to another office soon.

Bad Attitude..

Why is it that people with abundant energy and are happy all the time tend to bug me instead of having the opposite effect? I have a bad attitude today.
