"I'm so happy!"

My cousin JJS said this phrase one day last summer when we were swimming and having a great time. It was one of those moments where you don't have a care in the world and you just simply feel HAPPY! I am feeling that way today.

- My dad who has been fighting cancer feels great and he is beating it!
- My cousing JJS is getting married at the end of April to a great guy! Also- Happy B-day!
- Due to the wedding, I get to see my oldest sister and my mom...YEA!!!!
- I have a great boyfriend and he ROCKS!!
- Financially I am doing much better since I got a raise and promotion
- I am embarking on my 31st birthday and although that makes me panic a little bit, I always felt like my 30's would be one of my best decades.

As the eight ball would say.."Outlook good!"

They say the neon lights are bright....at Curves?

I work out at Curves, yeah Curves. For fat women over 30. That would be me! Anyway, for the past 2 days in there, they have had a Broadway musical remix playing to pump, pump, pump us up. I find it irritating! I don't find any joy in bouncing around to the theme song of Oklahoma with bad synthizer sounds and beats in the background. The sad fact is, I know every word to every song played on this Muzak. I am a self proclaimed choir dork and actually LOVE musicals. I just don't think working out to these songs has the same effect as watching it live on stage. Plus, I have been singing O.K.L.A.H.O.M.A. , OKLAHOMA! for an hour and a half now. Ugh!
